Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt!

Get together with your family, friends, school, organization or business to make a scarecrow for Port Hope Fair’s Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt!
Make your creation scary, funny, unusual or traditional! All scarecrow entries will be erected in surprising spots somewhere on the Fairgrounds for people to discover as they enjoy the Fair.
Judging is through a People’s Choice ballot.
Prizes include:
- 1st place $40
- 2nd place $30
- 3rd place $20
Your scarecrow must be between 3-6 ft tall. It does not need to be affixed to a pole or stand. Additional features such as animals, vegetables and straw may be included but must be combined as one structure that can be erected easily.
Pre-registration is required by Friday September 6th.
