Goat Show

This show is sanctioned by the Canadian Goat Society, and C.G.S rules shall govern
- Exhibitors must pay the Port Hope & District Agricultural Society $10 membership fee
- Animals must be on grounds by 10am. There will be a vet check between 10am and 11am
- There is no limit to the number of animals entered in each class or the number of classes entered. Prize money will be paid to the 2 highest placing animals
- All animals over 6 months must have original registration papers on site.
- Entries can be mailed to Pat McClean P.O. Box 283 Port Hope, ON L1A 3W4 to arrive by September 1st 2026.
- Market animals cannot be shown in dairy classes

- Dairy cattle of all ages will be on display for you to interact with
- You can pet a baby calf or a full-grown cow
- Learn about and tough the food a cow eats to produce the milk you love
- Discover how much milk a cow produces in one day. Recognize the difference breeds of dairy cattle and their specific breed traits
- Enjoy the hands-on educational exhibits and displays
- Go “next door” to see the milking demonstrations
