President's Message

Want fun and excitement? Plan to attend the 2011 Port Hope Fair. Help us celebrate our 180th anniversary and participate in the many new events planned for this year.

There is so much to see and do. Come and explore our agricultural fair, browse the exhibits and displays, take in the demonstrations, competitions, petting zoo, midway, shows and entertainment. Enjoy a relaxing, education and entertaining day or purchase a weekend pass and come often.

Countless hours are spent by the directors, associate directors and other volunteers planning and preparing the wide array of events and activities. We strive to provide a mix of programming to interest all ages while recognizing our 180th anniversary year as a very special event.

The Port Hope & District Agricultural Society is very grateful for the support and involvement of our volunteers, sponsors, community organizations, the Municipality of Port Hope, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Government of Canada through Canadian Heritage. We extend a very special thanks to all who participate in the Fair and to everyone who attends.
